As certified by our manufacturing partner under Ecocert (Learn More Here), no product or ingredient is tested on animals at any stage, even by third parties.


Although not currently certified by Leaping Bunny or PETA, the ECOCERT cruelty-free standard is internationally recognized and enforces equivalent restrictions.

All Mathre Cosmetics products are ECOCERT-certified partner operating under the COSMOS Organic and Natural standard.

This guarantees:

≥ 95% ingredients of natural origin

≥ 20% of total formula from certified organic farming (10% for rinse-off products)

No GMOs or petrochemical solvents

100% Vegan Formulations

All of our formulations are currently 100% vegan, containing no animal-derived ingredients or byproducts.

This includes the complete exclusion of substances such as lanolin, beeswax, collagen, keratin, or animal-based glycerin.

We uphold the following principles:

  • No animal-derived ingredients in any form
  • No animal byproducts used during processing or manufacturing
  • No animal testing, directly or indirectly, at any stage of development

Our vegan compliance is validated through supplier-origin documentation and subject to ECOCERT audit protocols.

Looking ahead:

Should we ever introduce exceptions (e.g., ethically sourced honey or similar inputs), we will do so transparently clearly labeling non-vegan products and ensuring that any inclusion meets strict sustainability and traceability criteria.
